Office of a company shot at in Limassol: police investigate the incident

Early in the morning of October 7, unknown individuals opened fire at the office of a private company located on Amathuntos Avenue in Limassol. The incident occurred around 03:50 a.m., after which the perpetrators fled the scene.
Police and the Criminal Investigation Department (ΤΑΕ) of Limassol arrived at the scene. The inspection revealed bullet marks and a shattered glass window at the building’s entrance. Preliminary information suggests that the shooters were on a motorcycle, which they used to escape immediately after the attack.
Fortunately, no one was inside the building at the time of the incident, and there were no injuries. The area has been cordoned off, police collected shell casings and other evidence, and surveillance footage is being reviewed.
According to Cypriot media, this is not the first incident involving this location: the same office was previously targeted in a bombing, the details of which are also under investigation.
The investigation is considering all possible motives, including a business dispute or deliberate intimidation. The case remains under the supervision of Limassol’s ΤΑΕ.
