Road closures in Limassol due to marathon
This coming weekend, March 21–22, Limassol will host the XM Marathon, resulting in temporary traffic restrictions throughout the city.
On Saturday, from 08:00 to 11:00, the section of Christodoulou Hadjipavlou Street — from Anexartisias Street to the Crowne Plaza hotel area — will be closed.
On Sunday, restrictions will be more extensive: from 06:00 to 11:00, the western part of the marathon route will be closed, and until 13:15, the eastern part will be affected, including coastal roads and central city streets.
Authorities urge drivers to plan their routes in advance, follow police instructions, and take temporary inconveniences into account.
Special parking zones have been prepared for guests and participants, although some municipal parking lots will be closed during the event.
