Explosion damages parked car in Limassol
Early this morning, around 04:20, police received a report of an explosion in the Agios Spyridonas area of Limassol.
Police and fire service personnel arrived at the scene. Firefighters extinguished a fire in the front part of a car belonging to a 37-year-old woman. The vehicle was parked near a residential building.
According to preliminary data, the fire was caused by the detonation of an explosive device.
The area has been cordoned off, and additional forensic examinations and investigative actions are planned at the site during the day.
The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is continuing to investigate the incident.
