Woman Injured in Limassol While Servicing Hunting Shotgun
Police received a report of a gunshot in an outbuilding in Limassol around 18:20.
According to preliminary data, a 26-year-old man and his 25-year-old partner were servicing the woman's hunting shotgun when, under circumstances yet to be determined, a shot was fired. The bullet struck the woman in the leg.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a private clinic in Limassol and subsequently transferred to a private hospital in Nicosia for further treatment.
The 26-year-old man was detained under a court warrant and placed in custody. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
