In Limassol, two young men on a motorcycle robbed six women in one day
In Limassol, the police arrested two young men who rode around the city on a motorcycle, robbing women. During the day, six complaints were filed with law enforcement by the victims.
According to the police, the two 21-year-old suspects rode motorcycles wearing helmets and snatched bags from lone women. Complaints about the robbers came from different areas of the city throughout the day. In two cases, the victimized women even fell to the ground, sustaining minor injuries.
Limassol police patrols were directed to search for the motorcycle robbers. As a result of inspections at the crime scenes and examination of surveillance cameras, the police identified the two suspects and arrested them based on court orders issued against them for three other similar crimes committed on April 23.
During the search, bags, money, and other items and documents belonging to the victims were found on the detained individuals.
During questioning, one of the young men confessed to committing the crimes.
