In Limassol, a truck hit an elderly man
In Limassol on Tuesday afternoon, a serious traffic accident occurred. A 70-year-old man was hit by a truck.
According to the police press service, the elderly man parked on the side of the main Parekklisia-Kellaki road, got out of the car, and crossed the road to reach a grocery store on the opposite side of the street. When he was returning to his car, he was hit by a truck.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the police.
