Car Burned in Limassol Last Night: Two Bodies Found Inside
A car was discovered completely burned out with two charred bodies inside in the countryside of Limassol district last night. The police are investigating all possible scenarios, including murder and double suicide.
The police press service reported that an emergency call about a car fire in the Listovounos area, halfway between Parekklisia and Kelaki, on a dirt road 50 meters from the main road, was received shortly after midnight.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. During the inspection of the completely burned car, two unidentified charred bodies were found inside.
The area was immediately cordoned off, and a forensic expert was called to the scene. The investigation into the cause of the tragedy continues, and an autopsy has been scheduled. Officers from the main criminal investigation department and Limassol are searching the area for evidence.
