Drunk Driver in Limassol Crashes into Parked Cars While Speeding at Five Times the Limit
Police in Limassol have arrested a 53-year-old man after he crashed into several parked cars while driving under the influence and reportedly exceeding the speed limit by five times.
The incident happened on Monday evening. According to police, the man slammed his vehicle into two parked cars.
When officers arrived at the scene, they administered a breathalyzer test which showed a blood alcohol level of 108mg%, nearly five times the legal limit of 22mg%. A follow-up test at the police station indicated an even higher concentration.
The driver was immediately arrested and taken into custody.
