"Golden Age" dance show of the Greek National Opera to be performed in Nicosia
On September 18 and 19, a dance performance titled "Golden Age," staged by Konstantinos Rigos and the Greek National Opera (Greek National Opera), will take place at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre. The shows start at 20:30.
The production opens the Nicosia International Festival 2025. Its premiere was held in Novi Sad as part of the Belgrade Dance Festival. Previously, the performance was presented at the Stavros Niarchos Hall in Athens, where, according to the organizers, it received standing ovations and positive reviews.
Tickets for the Nicosia shows are already available on More.com, starting at €20. The performance combines elements of opera and choreography in the format of a dance party, according to the festival announcement.
For the island’s residents, the event marks the beginning of a new festival program, which, according to the organizers, will fill the autumn schedule: the program includes musical evenings featuring local performers, traditional festivals in municipal gardens, performances by renowned Greek artists, National Theatre productions, and specialized events, including the "on two wheels" festival. Attending the opening shows will allow the audience to get acquainted with the opening program and purchase tickets for subsequent events.
