Charity Festival Pedieos Playground to be Held in Nicosia

In the Archangelos area of Nicosia, the Pedieos Playground charity event will take place on March 28, dedicated to the development of public space near the Pedieos River.

The festival will run from 14:00 to 22:00 in the park next to the basketball court on Pyrrou Street. Access to the venue is available via the bridge of the Pedieos Linear Park.

The organizers are the community initiatives Protovoulia Drasis Archangelou, Afternoon Project, and the Deviants group. They plan to fill the area with music, activities, and creative events for residents of all ages.

The program includes:

• 3×3 basketball tournament,
• a walk around the lake,
• DJ sets,
• food courts and drinks,
• workshops by local artists and craftsmen,
• a small market with artisanal products,
• entertainment for children and adults.

All funds raised during the festival will be directed toward the improvement of the park and the restoration of the local lake.
