The 9th Up to YOU(th) Youth Festival took place in Nicosia

The 9th Up to YOU(th) Youth Festival, co-organized by the Cyprus Youth Organization and the IDEP Institute of Continuing Education, took place on Saturday, 20 September 2025, at Acropolis Park in Nicosia.

The event brought together young people from all regions of Cyprus. The program included musical performances by school and popular groups, a Human Talks section with life stories, a technology fair with VR applications, robotics battles, and 3D printing, as well as presentations by Youth Makerspace and STEAM teams of the Cyprus Youth Organization.

The pop culture fair featured cosplay, comics, and board games. The science section included experiments by Sci‑Co Cyprus and observations organized by the Cyprus Astronomy Organization. Film screenings in the park caves, the Youth Hunt quest, and ecological sports games complemented the program.

A separate area for children included clowns, drawing activities, and performances. Scouts conducted practical sessions on making compasses and learning Morse code. The Simba Animal Aid shelter brought puppies for adoption and carried out informational campaigns. The NGO Fair showcased over 70 non-governmental organizations.

At the Cyprus Youth Organization booth, participants received information about programs and funding opportunities, as well as practical services including mobile device charging. Accessibility measures included ramps, signage, and sign language interpreters.
