In Nicosia, a factory-made firecracker was thrown into a man's car

In the Nicosia area, on Thursday night, unknown individuals detonated a factory-made firecracker inside the car of a 50-year-old man. The vehicle was parked near his home.
The incident occurred around 01:10 a.m. The explosion caused damage to the car as well as the windows of a neighboring residential building.
Police officers arrived at the scene, including an explosives expert, who determined that a factory-made pyrotechnic device had been placed in the car and activated.
The investigation is being conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Nicosia police. No further details have been released yet.
