Nicosia to Introduce Parking Discount for Electric Vehicles

The Municipality of Nicosia announced that from January 1, 2026, owners of electric vehicles and vehicles with electric engines will be able to benefit from a 20% discount on a six-month parking subscription at all organized municipal parking facilities in the city.

With the discount applied, the cost of a six-month parking card will be €216. The exception is the Old GSP municipal parking lot, where the discounted price will be €288. The subscription is valid for six months from the date of activation and applies to only one selected parking facility.

To obtain the discounted card, applicants must send the following to the email address

[email protected]:

• a copy of the vehicle ownership document;
• an indication of the municipal parking facility intended for use.

After that, the applicant will be issued an invoice, which can be paid at the municipality’s cash offices or online. Once payment is confirmed, the municipality will issue the parking card and notify the applicant when it is ready.
