32-year-old suspect arrested in Nicosia for car theft
In Nicosia, police arrested a 32-year-old man suspected of car theft.
A previously stolen car was found parked in one of the city's districts. Police officers set up surveillance on the vehicle, after which a man, for whom an arrest warrant had already been issued, approached the car.
During the arrest, police found wallets, bank cards, European ID cards, and keys to other cars in his possession.
The man was re-arrested for illegal possession of property as well. He is set to appear before the Nicosia District Court today.
The investigation is ongoing.
