Cats with Burned and Bloodied Tails Found in Nicosia
Animal rights activists have reported new cases of animal cruelty. In Agios Antonios, Nicosia, cats with cut, burned, and bloodied tails have been spotted.
The incident was reported by the Ecological Movement—Civil Cooperation. According to their statement, local residents informed the animal protection organization about the injured animals.
Activists have expressed deep concern over these acts of cruelty, believing that the injuries inflicted on the cats were caused by humans.
“If there are indeed such dangerous individuals among us, the police must take immediate action to identify them and bring them to justice. A complaint has already been filed with the local police, and we urge anyone with information to report it immediately,” the ecoactivists stated.
