In Paphos, an e-scooter rider hit a two-year-old girl and fled the scene

In Kato Paphos, police are searching for an e-scooter rider who struck a two-year-old girl on Saturday evening and left the scene. The child was walking with her parents along a busy seaside pedestrian path when the collision occurred.
The incident happened at around 19:30 on the promenade along Poseidonos Avenue. According to police, after the collision the rider did not stop to provide assistance and immediately fled.
The girl sustained minor injuries. She was taken to Paphos Hospital and later transferred to Makarios Hospital in Nicosia as a precaution. Doctors reported that the child’s condition is not a cause for concern.
Police continue the investigation and are seeking witnesses who may have seen the scooter rider or can help identify him.
