In Paphos, a lost mushroom picker was found
In Paphos, a 67-year-old man went into the forest to pick mushrooms and got lost. Fortunately, everything ended well: as a result of the search operation, the mushroom picker was found.
According to a police representative, information was received at the Paphos Police Department call center the evening before, stating that a 67-year-old man who had gone to Panagia for mushrooms with two friends had gotten lost in the forest.
Several police officers, including a senior officer, as well as members of the Panagia search team, volunteers, and friends of the lost man, arrived at the scene.
During the coordinated operation, around 19:30, the mushroom picker was found in the area of "Stasus," in the village of Panagia. The 67-year-old man was unharmed and in good health.
