An urgent operation to transport a patient to hospital was carried out in Paphos

In the Paphos area, emergency services carried out an operation to urgently evacuate a patient from a vessel located off the city’s coast. This was reported by the Search and Rescue Coordination Center (KSED).
After receiving a signal about the need for immediate medical assistance, an operation was organized to transport the patient ashore. He was then taken to Paphos General Hospital, where he was handed over to doctors for further treatment.
The operation was completed successfully and without complications. Details about the patient’s condition and the nature of the illness have not been officially disclosed. KSED emphasized that the services remain on constant readiness to respond to emergency situations both on land and at sea.
