In Paphos, another car was set on fire last night. The moment the vehicle was ignited was captured by surveillance cameras.

According to the police press office, the expensive car, owned by a 47-year-old man, caught fire around 4 a.m. At the time, it was parked in an open area in the Petridia region, located between Paphos and Emba.

Surveillance footage shows an unidentified man approaching the car just before the flames broke out. The video clearly shows the suspect pouring a flammable liquid onto the front of the vehicle before setting it alight.

Soon after, a waste collection team noticed the fire and alerted nearby residents, who managed to put out the flames using hoses before the fire department arrived.

The police have launched an investigation at the scene, focusing on identifying the suspect and locating him.
