Three People Arrested in Paphos for Possession of 34 Kilograms of Cannabis
Paphos police seized a large quantity of drugs on Tuesday evening. Three men, aged 48, 37, and 33, were arrested on suspicion of possessing 34 kilograms of cannabis.
According to the police, the first arrest was made of the 37-year-old man. Around 6:30 a.m., officers stopped and searched his vehicle on the highway linking Paphos and Limassol.
In the car, they found just over 4.8 kilograms of cannabis, which was seized as evidence.
Police then conducted a search of a property owned by the arrested man and found an additional 29.5 kilograms of cannabis hidden inside a plastic water tank, along with a set of precision scales. Two other individuals were also arrested. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
