16-Year-Old Arrested in Paphos for Speeding
A 16-year-old teenager was arrested in Paphos for speeding while driving his parents' car.
According to the police press office, during a routine traffic check, officers noticed a vehicle speeding on the road leading to the Tombs of the Kings.
When the car was stopped, it was discovered that the driver was a minor. As he was underage, he did not have a driver's license or insurance.
The vehicle was seized, and the teenager's father was called in for questioning at the Paphos Central Police Station.
In the same operation, the police also caught two drivers under the influence of narcotics and identified 23 others who had committed less serious offenses.
