In Paphos Park, Surveillance Cameras Have Been Installed
The Municipality of Paphos has installed a CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) system in the City Flower Park. The cameras will help prevent possible offenses and acts of vandalism.
According to the municipality's statement, the decision to install the surveillance system was made after numerous complaints filed by concerned citizens regarding a series of malicious actions directed against the park.
"In response to the municipality's concern, the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection reviewed the situation and granted permission for the installation of cameras," the statement said.
