New Citizen Service Office to Open in Polis
In the recently unified municipality of Polis in the Paphos district, plans are underway to open a new district citizen service office.
Mayor Chrysochous Yiotis Papachristofi met with Paphos District Governor Haralambos Pittokoptis and other officials to discuss the transfer of services to the local authority, ahead of its official commencement next month.
According to the announcement, responsibilities for processing construction permits, water supply systems, and sewage, currently managed by the municipality and thirteen separate public councils, will be transferred to the district organization on Sunday, June 30.
The mayor assured that the newly unified Polis Chrysochous municipality will fully support the district organization to ensure a smooth transition.
The citizen service office of the district organization will be temporarily located at the former Polis Chrysochous police station, 1 Ayia Kyriaki Street. Contact can be made by phone at 26930220.
