Protaras to Host First Cyprus Street Football Championship
Cyprus is set to host its inaugural street football tournament on August 3 and 4 in the central square of Protaras.
The event, named “Powered by Cablenet,” is organized by Game On Pro Marketing in collaboration with the Paralimni municipality. The primary aim of the championship is to promote sports and raise public awareness about its benefits. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to charity.
The tournament will feature three categories: children aged 7 to 12, teenagers aged 13 to 17, and families, which require one child under 15 and one adult per team.
Each match will last 15 minutes.
There are 84 spots available for the tournament, with a registration fee of 25 euros per team. All proceeds from the event will benefit the “Little Heroes” charity foundation for children with cancer.
