24 Traffic Offenders Caught in Paphos on Christmas Night
On Christmas night, the Paphos Traffic Police carried out a coordinated operation aimed at curbing traffic violations. Among the offenders, several drivers were found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, while one was even caught steering without using their hands.
According to the police, the operation was conducted between 7:00 PM on December 25 and 7:00 AM on December 26. During this period, officers performed multiple roadside checks, identifying a total of 24 violations.
Out of these, two cases involved driving under the influence of alcohol, another two involved drug-impaired driving, while the remaining violations included various traffic offenses, such as driving without hands on the wheel.
The police emphasized that such coordinated road operations will continue in the future to ensure safety on the roads.
