Large-Scale Police Operation Underway in Old Town Paphos
In the evening, a major police operation is taking place in the center of Paphos, in the Old Town area, causing noticeable concern among locals and tourists.
Four police vehicles with officers from the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (EAO) arrived on the scene. Law enforcement personnel suddenly entered a building where a private party was taking place at the time.
At the same time, the police blocked several streets around the area, and armed officers are controlling all entrances and access points. The presence of security forces in the Old Town remains very noticeable.
At the moment, no official information has been provided regarding the reasons for the operation or possible violations. Police activities are ongoing.
