Man stabbed in central Larnaca
On Friday evening, Larnaca police responded to a report of an injured man in the city center. The victim was found on the sidewalk near one of the shops with a stab wound.
According to preliminary information, the man is a Greek Cypriot. He was taken to Larnaca Hospital for medical examination. Information about his condition has not yet been disclosed.
Police established that the conflict during which the injury was inflicted occurred at another location. During an argument, one of the participants pulled out a knife and stabbed the man. The exact location of the attack is being determined — one of the versions under consideration is a residential building.
The investigation is ongoing.
