Vandals Deface French Artist Seth’s Mural in Nicosia
Vandals have defaced a mural by renowned French artist Seth in Nicosia. The mural, located directly across from the city hall on the wall of a private building on Strovolos Avenue, was unveiled on July 3. The project was a collaboration between the French Institute and the French Embassy in Nicosia, aimed at promoting children's rights and enhancing the city's image.
Municipal authorities have condemned the act of vandalism and called for respect for art, public spaces, and the municipality's efforts in cultural development and children's rights.
The statement also emphasized that vandalism does a disservice to everyone and places an additional burden on city services.
