Cyprus Offers Condolences Following Plane Crash in South Korea
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus has extended its condolences after a devastating plane crash in South Korea, which claimed the lives of nearly 180 people.

In an official statement, the ministry expressed its deep sorrow over the tragedy, offering “heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims.”
“Our thoughts are with the government and the people of Korea during this difficult time,” the statement read.
The tragic incident occurred at Muan Airport in southwestern South Korea. A Jeju Air flight from Bangkok attempted to land without deploying its landing gear, overshot the runway, and collided with a building. Out of the 175 passengers and six crew members onboard, only two survived.
