Burned Car Found on Cliff During Fire Near Limassol
A forest fire broke out near Limassol last evening. Rescue workers who arrived at the scene discovered a completely burned car on a cliff.
According to the police press service, the fire ignited in the area of the village of Kilani. The fire service and police were alerted, and approximately four dozen wild shrubs were destroyed by the fire.
While extinguishing the fire, a car was found on a cliff, completely burned. Police cordoned off the area for investigation.
It is being determined whether the fire started in the car or if the car caught fire because it was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The owner of the vehicle has not yet been identified.
