A conflict has erupted in Limassol over a strike by Wolt couriers. According to media reports, a representative of the company responsible for hiring workers threatened participants with dismissal and reports to migration services.

It is reported that messages were sent in the couriers' group chat demanding they immediately return to work or resign. Threats were also made to deprive strikers of their earnings.

Against this backdrop, some management offered bonuses to those who would work—initially up to 100%, then €50 for completing a certain number of orders.

Couriers, in turn, held protest rallies in Limassol, demanding stable employment, fair pay, and an end to exploitation.

The strike was called due to a planned reduction in delivery fees. Participants state that current income no longer matches the volume of work.

The company previously noted that the number of strike participants is limited.
