Ayia Napa Resident Arrested for Series of Indecent Assaults on Women
In Ayia Napa, police have arrested a suspect in connection with a series of indecent assaults on women. The 47-year-old suspect is accused of targeting five young women, all under the age of 22.
According to the police, the assaults were reported by the five victims, one of whom is only 17 years old. The victims have alleged that an unidentified man committed indecent acts against them.
The investigation indicates that the assaults occurred between July 30 and August 11. The suspect allegedly approached the victims' cars, opened the doors, and engaged in various indecent actions. In two cases, he is reported to have physically attacked the young women.
During the investigation, Ayia Napa police identified the suspect and obtained a court order for his arrest. The 47-year-old man was detained on Monday morning. The investigation is still ongoing.
