Residents of Cyprus Warned About Rockfalls and Landslides on Mountain Roads
Several landslides have occurred on mountain roads in Cyprus, prompting authorities to warn drivers to exercise caution.
According to the police, the landslides took place on the Campos-Kikkos and Kikkos-Pedoulas roads on Monday morning at around 8:15 AM. Traffic has been disrupted in these areas.
Police officers have already carried out initial road clearing efforts. A team from the local authorities has been dispatched to fully remove debris from the affected sections.
Authorities are urging drivers to remain cautious, drive at a safe, low speed, and maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
