Of course, it is always more convenient to get around by your own car, but public transport in Cyprus works well. There are city routes, there are intercity routes. You can always get from one major city to another. The buses are European-style and comfortable, they run on schedule and there are not many passengers. Travel around the city costs € 1.5, there are travel cards - this is a more budget-friendly option for regular trips. The price for intercity routes starts from 4€. All major cities are connected by bus service.
For example, from Limassol you can easily get to Larnaca, Paphos, Nicosia by direct buses, but to Ayia Napa you need to go with a transfer in Larnaca. You can set a route here:
