Is there a hotel at Ercan airport?
An airport hotel is a convenient feature, especially if it’s a major transit hub and not all passenger categories are allowed to leave the terminal.
Neither of these applies to Ercan Airport — it’s a “final destination,” you can only fly back to Turkey, and anyone can leave the airport and get a tourist stamp.
So, there is no hotel at Ercan Airport — no terminal hotel, no capsule hotel, not even a nearby chain hotel, as is often done with business travelers in mind. However, there are options nearby.

Located 8 minutes from Ercan and less than 8 kilometers away, right after the junction of the Famagusta — Nicosia highway heading toward the capital.

Also located towards Nicosia, at the roundabout near the largest supermarket in Northern Cyprus. The distance from the airport is 10.5 kilometers, travel time is 11 minutes.

Located in the same direction and, if you look at the map, even closer than the previous one, but you’ll need to turn around at the next roundabout, so the travel time will be 13 minutes, and the total distance is 12 kilometers.

How to book hotels in TRNC online?
Not all options are available through search engines, but the main ones are.
Booking.com
On Booking.com, when selecting Nicosia, you will see hotels both in the north and the south. It’s easiest to click “Show on map” and navigate from there. For hotels in Kyrenia, you need to enter Kyrenia. Famagusta is entered without changes.
Ostrovok
On the aggregator Ostrovok.ru, the situation is similar: Famagusta is Famagusta, and Kyrenia is Kyrenia. As for Nicosia, the search engine offers a separate option for “Northern Nicosia.”
Yandex.Travel
On Yandex.Travel, to search for hotels in Famagusta, simply select “Famagusta,” as “Famagusta Region” will take you to the southern part. When entering Nicosia, it’s best to use the map, as there are far fewer options in the north, making them easy to spot. Instead of Kyrenia, enter Kyrenia, but when you type Kyrenia, the system will suggest it automatically.
