An 85-year-old man was injured in a burglary attack in southern Lefkosia, Cyprus
According to the newspaper Alithia, on Saturday afternoon in the southern part of Lefkosia in Cyprus, an 85-year-old man was attacked by a burglar who broke into his home.
The victim was taken to hospital. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
In a separate report, Alithia states that in Limassol on the same Saturday, a group attacked a 36-year-old man in front of a cafeteria, using a knife and a stun gun. The victim sustained a stab wound to the back; his condition remains serious. Police are seizing and reviewing footage from nearby surveillance cameras.
