Two people detained at Kyrenia port for attempting to import goods without declaration
During customs inspections at the Kyrenia tourist port, goods were identified that individuals attempted to bring into the country without the mandatory declaration.
According to law enforcement agencies, two men — N.R. (52) and C.C. (45) — imported 32 pairs of shoes, a popcorn machine, and various food items into the country without listing them in the customs declaration.
It is reported that the goods were loaded into a vehicle and taken out of the customs zone, after which the violation was discovered during an inspection.
The suspects have been detained, and the seized goods have become part of the investigation.
Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
