The Transport Department of Northern Cyprus has published the vehicle inspection schedule for 2025–2026

Today, the Transport Department of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Northern Cyprus posted an updated schedule for motor vehicle inspections for 2025–2026. Vehicle owners can check the dates on the ministry’s official website and pay inspection fees online by credit card.
The schedule is prepared in accordance with Article 64 of the amended Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Regulation of 1974.
Access the list here: https://bub.gov.ct.tr/Portals/42/2025-2026%20muayene%20A3.pdf.
For payment of the inspection, visit the homepage at www.bub.gov.ct.tr and click on the image labeled “Payment for inspection, registration, or travel abroad.” Payment is accepted by card — simplifying the process before visiting the center.
How inspection dates are determined:
The schedule is tied to the letters on the license plate (plate groups). The main inspection periods extend from November 2025 to November 2026 to avoid queues.
Service is provided from the start of the shift until 30 minutes before the end. Owners must be present with documents: registration certificate, insurance, driver’s license. The vehicle must be clean and free of defects (rust, leaks are prohibited). Expired inspection — vehicle use prohibited, even if registered.
The ministry emphasizes: inspections ensure safety. We recommend checking the schedule in advance to avoid fines.
