Girl Scouts from the TRNC are heading to Portugal
The Association of Girl Scout Organizations in the TRNC will participate in the General Assembly of the World Federation of Independent Scouts in the European Region. The international gathering will take place in the capital of Portugal - Lisbon.
Taking part in the upcoming General Assembly will be the President of the TRNC Girl Scout Organization, Esen Bahadır, and the board member Jansu Karşıyılı.
At the end of September, scout leaders will conduct a seminar on behalf of the World Federation of Independent Scouts in North Cyprus, with the participation of more than 50 scout associations from 20 European countries.
The President of the Association of Girl Scout Organizations, Esen Bahadır, stated that they will continue to serve society on the principle of volunteering and be a beacon and guide for scout activities in the country. He thanked the Deputy Prime Minister, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment for their support.
