Eastern Mediterranean University Ranked Among the World's Top Universities
Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has earned a place in one of the most prestigious global university rankings. Times Higher Education (THE) has updated its list of the top universities in various fields.
According to the latest rankings, EMU has been listed in the 301-400 range for Business Administration and Economics, placing it among 850 universities from 85 countries. This achievement positions EMU as a leading university in both the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the Republic of Turkey.
EMU also ranks in the 301–400 range for Physical Sciences, where 1,447 universities from 107 countries are represented. Additionally, it has secured a place in the 501-600 range for Engineering, with 1,488 universities from 97 countries included.
For the first time, EMU has been included in the Medicine and Healthcare ranking, where it appears among 1,150 universities from 102 countries in the 601-800 range. This makes EMU one of only two universities from Northern Cyprus to be featured in this prestigious category.
“This success is a strong testament to the fact that EMU is not only well-established in the TRNC but also gaining international recognition,” said Hasan Kılıç, the university's rector.
