Kıb-Tek announces a three-hour power outage in the Ağırtag area
In Northern Cyprus, Kıb-Tek reported a planned power outage on Wednesday from 09:00 to 12:00 in the area between Boğaz (the “Hediyem Su” company) and Ağırtag, as well as in part of Ağırtag.
According to Kıb-Tek’s statement, the interruption is related to work carried out as part of a private company's project to connect 20 residential houses in Ağırtag to the grid. During the work, electricity supply in the specified area will be suspended.
The outage will affect consumers in the zone between “Hediyem Su” in Boğaz and Ağırtag, as well as part of Ağırtag. The announced timeframe — from 09:00 to 12:00 — is required for technical work needed to commission the new connections.
The information was provided by the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek). Residents and businesses in the affected locations are advised to take the three-hour electricity interruption into account.
