Six Erenköy High School students under observation in Famagusta hospital after accident
The Ministry of Education reported that today, on the Avtepe—Kuruova main road in Northern Cyprus, a passenger car collided with a school minibus, resulting in six Erenköy High School students being placed under observation at the Famagusta State Hospital.
In a written statement, the ministry indicated that there were six students in the minibus transporting the pupils, all of whom were taken to the Famagusta State Hospital for observation.
The statement also noted that none of the students sustained injuries and medical examination results were positive, which the ministry considers a great relief for everyone.
Minister of Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu immediately received information regarding the students' health and conveyed words of support to the students and their families.
For residents in Northern Cyprus, this information means that the affected individuals are under medical supervision and that the ministry is monitoring the situation.
