Kıb-Tek increased fixed charges in electricity tariffs

The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) announced that it has introduced changes to electricity sales tariffs as of today.
According to the institution’s statement, the changes concern only fixed charges (maktu ücretler). They were increased in line with the rise in the minimum wage — by 18.39%.
It is emphasized that the price of consumed electricity (per kWh) has not changed — the adjustment affected exclusively the fixed part of the tariff.
