TRNC athlete Erdinç İnçay became Turkey’s junior high jump champion

Promising athlete of the TRNC Athletics Federation Erdinç İnçay achieved a major success at the Turkish Under-16 Championship held in the city of Bursa.
At the Nejat Kök U16 Indoor Turkish Athletics Championship, which took place at the Osmangazi Athletics Hall, İnçay confidently took first place in the high jump event, clearing 1.90 meters and outperforming all his competitors.
The award ceremony was attended by the President of the TRNC Athletics Federation Ferhat Sakallı and the athlete’s coach Mehmet Baykent, who congratulated the young athlete on his victory.
It is noted that Erdinç İnçay is in excellent sporting form. Last month, he had already won the SEM Olympic qualification competition in Bursa with a result of 1.87 meters. At the current championship, the athlete improved his personal best by 3 centimeters and also attempted to clear 1.95 meters, but this height has not yet been conquered.
Experts note that the achieved result is a strong indication of further success in the remainder of the season.
