Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell became the communications sponsor of the TRNC National Olympic Committee

Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell has signed a communications sponsorship agreement with the National Olympic Committee of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (MOK). The aim of the cooperation is to support and develop sports in the country.
The signing ceremony was attended by Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell CEO Murat Küçükgözdemir and National Olympic Committee President Orçun Kamalı. Also present at the event were Turkcell Deputy General Manager for Sales and Marketing Deniz Mungan Söncü and MOK Board Member Şevket Songür.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of sports in the TRNC, projects planned by the National Olympic Committee, as well as issues related to promoting Olympic values in society.
Speaking at the ceremony, Murat Küçükgözdemir emphasized the social importance of sports, noting that supporting athletes and sports initiatives is part of the company’s social responsibility. He expressed hope that cooperation with the National Olympic Committee would contribute to the development of sports in Northern Cyprus.
For his part, Orçun Kamalı pointed out the importance of institutional support in preparing athletes and promoting Olympic ideals.
At the end of the ceremony, Murat Küçükgözdemir was presented with a commemorative token of appreciation for the company’s contribution to the development of sports.
