TRNC Ministry of Finance Authorized to Borrow 6 Billion Turkish Liras
The Council of Ministers has granted the Ministry of Finance of the TRNC the authority to borrow 6 billion Turkish Liras in order to fulfill the state's financial obligations.
The decision has been officially published in the Official Gazette.
“The Council of Ministers has approved the Ministry of Finance’s request to borrow 6,000,000,000 Turkish Liras (six billion Turkish Liras) as part of the 2025 Budget Law, enabling the government to meet its financial commitments,” the document states.
