The Turkish Ministry of Defense congratulated the people of Northern Cyprus on the 42nd anniversary of the proclamation of the TRNC

On 15 November 2025, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense published an official congratulatory message on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The message was shared on the ministry’s official social media accounts.

The statement reads: “Happy Republic Day to our Turkish Cypriot brothers, who declared their independence to the world 42 years ago. May Allah’s mercy be upon our martyrs, and may our veterans be granted health, happiness, and long life. As always, we will continue to stand by the Turkish Cypriots.”

The ministry emphasized its unwavering support for the Turkish Cypriot community and extended congratulations to the residents of Northern Cyprus. The congratulatory message is timed to the anniversary of the establishment of the TRNC, celebrated annually on 15 November.
