Drunken rampage ends in arrest: man turns out to be an illegal resident

In Northern Cyprus, a man was detained after causing destruction in his home while intoxicated and then attacking police officers. According to law enforcement, he damaged the doors of his residence and, during the arrest attempt, resisted and used force against the police.
During checks it was established that the detainee was illegally staying on the territory of the TRNC. The man was taken to a police station; the investigation continues and the issue of further measures, including migration procedures, is being considered.
