At the main intersection in Kyrenia, Traffic lights have stopped working
Due to a malfunction in the traffic lights, traffic on the road section is now following the rules for uncontrolled intersections. It is reported that the traffic lights at the intersection near the new Belediye building in Kyrenia have been disabled.
Until the issue is resolved, the police have requested drivers to adhere to the speed limit and cross the specified road section with extra caution, following the rules for uncontrolled intersections.
Due to the situation, traffic congestion is expected on the roads around the city municipality in the direction to and from Nicosia
