Scholarship Results Announced in Northern Cyprus Based on ÖSYM Exam
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Department of Higher Education and International Relations has announced the students eligible for scholarships following their successful performances in the 2024 ÖSYM entrance exams.
According to the department's statement, scholarships will be awarded to students who rank among the top five in their respective score categories based on an evaluation conducted among TRNC citizens.
The selection process included students who are citizens of Northern Cyprus and participated in the central examination (YKS) conducted by Turkey’s Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center (ÖSYM) for admission to university undergraduate programs.
Students can submit objections to the announced list within five working days from the announcement date, before the end of business hours.
Additionally, the statement mentioned that the scholarship application system (YÖBİS) will reopen on November 18-19 for students who were unable to submit their applications. To participate, students must apply under the "Scholarships and Tuition Fees" section.
